group Runs

Start training for the active life you want! Run with Lisa, founder of Tri2Surf, in Portland OR.

If you are a beginner runner or want other awesome women to run with, and build friendships along the way, come join! It will be a donation-based run with the proceeds going to Girls On The Run. Our goals may be different from each other yet ultimately Tri2Surf wants us to have fun and be in community with each other.

  • What to expect

    10 minutes dynamic warm-up; 30 minutes or so run/jog around the park

    The group runs can be whatever speed is needed to maintain good running posture which helps us stay injury-free. A jog or fast walk for those who are just starting out is an option as well.

    The goal of these runs is to offer a community to run with and have the opportunity to form friendships along the way.

  • Who Can Join

    Women+ ages 50+

  • What to Bring

    Wear clothes you’re comfortable running in that are weather appropriate. Water bottle optional.

  • Where are the runs

    Most runs will take place:

    • On the path that is around Columbia Park in N. Portland.

    • On the path alongside Wilshire Park on NE 33rd Ave in NE Portland.

    • If there is interest and availability, Lisa will also coordinate group runs along the fire road in Forest Park.

  • How to Find us

    For Columbia Park, we will meet at the pool entrance.

    For Wilshire Park, we will meet at the covered area in middle of the park.
